[ title    ] SiROP - Student Research Opportunities Program
[ abstract ]
Goal: The Student Research Opportunities Program (SiROP) is a non-profit organization connecting a rapidly expanding international network of universities and institutions. The purpose of SiROP is to enhance student education and support scientific research by giving motivated students the opportunity to actively collaborate in ongoing research projects both locally and internationally.
The basic infrastructure provided by SiROP is a multifunctional web platform with standardised procedures to post, search, and manage projects while using a common browser. Centralisation and automation increase visibility and efficiency.
The SiROP Network is coordinated by the SiROP Global Office. At each SiROP Member Institution, the SiROP initiative is promoted by a local team consisting mainly of undergraduate and graduate students of that particular member institution.
